As we say, "We're obsessed about our ingredients". Let's show you how we go an extra mile for our ingredients.
RESEARCHING THE INGREDIENTS
Before we decided what will go in our formulation, we wanted to know what ingredients will actually work & support our formulation. We went & collected almost every research paper available on the ingredients. Shorlisted the ingredients based on a particular skin concern we were formulating for & the ingredients that have shown desired properties & proven to be effective in research studies & did our own trial runs.
SOURCING INGREDIENTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
The correct nutrient profile & proof of authenticity was extremely important to us when it comes to sourcing our ingredients. So we sourced our ingredients right from the source with correct environment & soil condition to get the best out of plant nutrition.
We also had to ensure it's purity. So we collected data sheets & COA's for each ingredient. For the organic ingredients we need certification
(We don't call the ingredients organic for which we don't have certification from any govt. approved organization & that's why we don't claim to be 100% organic)
It took us more than a year to source all our ingredients from around the world.
UNCONDITIONAL FORMULATION
We formulated product based on 3 criterias. Fomultation that were :
1. Plant based using the real skin nutrition of different herbs & botanicals
2. That target specific skin concerns &
3. Effective products that gave results.
CLEAN PROCESSING METHODS
Processing the ingredients took as much thought as sourcing them.
To make the best use of the incredible ingredients we sourced, we practiced processing methods that were clean & methods that didn't disturb or altered the nutrient profile or constituents of our ingredients.
We chose coldpressing of raw plant seeds & solar infusion of raw herbs for plant extracts using organic solvents .
We ignored all additives like hexane, ethanol, enhancers, added colours or cheap alternatives. We didn't involve any heat in the process that may disturb the constituents & kept them non-deodrized, unrefined & raw.
QUALITY & SAFETY TESTING
Each individual ingredient is tested before it passes a strict quality check. We follow gold standards when it comes to making our product safe & effective.
Our products are tested for safety, stability & efficacy on various parameters. They are also dermatologically tested & a sum of lab tests are conducted before the products can finally reach your skin.
We spent years in R&D and product development so you can spend your years wearing Unconditional.
CONSUMER TRIALS
In an independent consumer study, our formulations were given to upto 100 women (age group 21-55 years). We analysed & evaluated the result on the basis of effectiveness, safety & experience.
We believe that an effective formula is what shows results. Not just on paper but on real people.
That's why we conduct trials on actual people. Only after satisfactory result considering safety & effectiveness we roll outthe product in the market.
